Topic: Theory, Algorithms and Demonstration of Wireless BioMEM Networks (WBN) that perform distributed monitoring of bacteria biofilm in water desalination and treatment plants. Its main aim was to develop the world’s first real-time micro-biological wireless networked control system able to control bacterial activity, determine the optimal biocide injection and, therefore, improve the efficiency at water treatment and desalination plants.
