Bakht Zaman received his B.S degree in Electronics Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information and Technology, Abbottabad, Pakistan in 2012 and M.S degree with Dean Honor Role from Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, Topi, Pakistan in 2015. He was awarded National ICT R&D Fund Pakistan merit scholarship for BS studies and Graduate Assistantship by the GIK institute during his MS studies. After completing his MS degree, he joined the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at GIK Institute, in March 2015 as a Research Associate. In January 2016, he started his studies towards the PhD degree at WISENET lab, University of Agder, Norway.
He is currently working towards the PhD degree in statistical signal processing specifically learning, and inference in space-time processes over networks.
His research interests are statistical signal processing, learning and inference over networks, and machine learning.
