Biography

Øyvind Mydland is an engineer in computer and automation, with a background in engineering, information technology and business development spanning over 30 years. In January 2000 he founded Stepchange, a dedicated IO consultancy and advisory company and has advised Equinor, BP, Talisman, Eni, Lundin and other major companies in the oil&gas industry on their Digitalization strategies and programmes. Particular areas of expertise include; Integrated Operations and digital strategies and program management, Capability development and deployment and new operational models based on digitalization, a global real time way of working

COE of Stepchange AS, he has extensive experience within Integrated Operations (IO) in the Oil&Gas industry. He is an engineer in computer and automation, with a background in engineering, information technology and business development spanning over 20 years.

In January 2000 he founded Stepchange, a dedicated IO consultancy and advisory company and has advised Statoil, BP, Talisman, Eni, Lundin and other major companies in the oil&gas industry on their IO strategies and programmes.
